Capturing the frustration with much of the leadership of the newspaper business that boils over in so many of us, Dan at the always interesting Xark blog lets loose on what he calls the "ritual suicide pact" of publishers who think people will pay to read newspaper Web sites. This is not for the faint of heart, especially if you're a printie dinosaur in a state of denial. But he nails it, and takes no prisoners. Great reading.
